Alex Savage and Jon Marko Correa formed Critical Jimmies on January 17th 2016. After bassist Alex Savage had gotten off of his national tour, they decided to get a band house together and make some new music. It was all very spontaneous, they just played some music together one day and the chemistry was immediate. They both have backgrounds in a wide variety of genres, no genre is off limits, and everything comes together to make a unique sound that they call their own. If they had to label themselves with a genre it would be Indie Prog Rock.
