Hunter Dumped Us Here was born as a solo project out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa officially beginning in 2013. As additional musicians have joined HDUH's sound has become bigger and increasingly dynamic.

Both literal and metaphorical stories are told through carefully-crafted lyrics delivered through singing, screaming, and spoken word, with a Indie/Post-Hardcore influenced musical backdrop, driven by piano.

HDUH was created to make a difference and leave a legacy behind of loving and accepting others, admitting defeats, and moving past the struggles in our daily lives. Whether we leave this earth as pile of bones left in the woods by a hunter, or as a gravestone, we leave a statement behind. Everything we do in our lives affects what that statement becomes.

With three official releases (Ribcage, Key, SEA BURIAL / BLUE TREASURE) to their name so far, Hunter Dumped Us Here looks forward into 2016 to present a powerful full-length album made up of stories from friends and family, retold in musical form.
