The Host Country is a folk-rock duo made up of Ty Wistrand (guitar/vocals) and Diana Garles (keys/vocals). The band formed when the two began writing and playing together while attending the University of Northern Iowa.
Since then the duo has set out to create a playlist that ranges from fun and upbeat to rich and poetic, woven together by tight harmonies and a raw and authentic style.
